Casa Pretori is located in the historical centre of the ancient Roman Tarraco and one of its most emblematic areas, opposite the Praetorian Tower, the circus, the amphitheater and the archaeological museum. Its seafront location is ideal for a quiet stroll through its narrow streets close to the main commercial, gastronomic and cultural attractions of Tarragona.

From Casa Pretori you can enjoy the cultural and Mediterranean essence of the city by strolling at sunset through its historic streets, visiting the ancient monuments that allow you to relive the history of the ancient city of Tarraco, or the more modern Gothic part and its cathedral, enjoying the shops and restaurants of the Rambla Nova, looking out over the sea from the Balcony of the Mediterranean, dining in the seaside district of Serrallo or in the exclusive marina of Port Tarraco.

There is excellent access on foot from Casa Pretori to the beaches of the area, first class sports facilities and the main transport links that connect the city with Barcelona, Valencia and Madrid.

Less than 15 minutes from Casa Pretori you can enjoy a family day out at the Port-Aventura amusement park or the beautiful medieval village of Altafulla. The public transport network is just a few minutes away with excellent connections to Barcelona and its countless attractions and Gaudi’s modernist legacy, as well as to Valencia and Madrid. Barcelona airport is 40 minutes away and the AVE high speed train station and Reus airport are 15 minutes away.

Casa Pretori offers flexible accommodation solutions from single occupancy to groups of 12 people as required. Stays can be configured from days to weeks in a practical, functional and modern setting full of warmth and charm.

All rooms are fully equipped with the maximum comfort including private bathroom with towels, private terrace, air conditioning, Smart TV with satellite channels, USB charger, high speed WIFI, fridge, microwave and coffee machine.

The building is an important example of urban regeneration with extreme attention to detail designed with Mediterranean inspiration combined with a modern contemporary and sophisticated style. The spaces are energy efficient with as many original elements having been recycled to maximise sustainability credentials and environmental friendliness whilst preserving their location for future generations in a setting steeped in history.

All living areas are double south and east facing, bright and sunny thanks to their large windows and terraces with stunning views of the sea, the city walls and the surrounding Roman monuments. Access is via the charming iron staircase and for people with limited mobility there is a modern lift.
